Even though the formal verb is " urinate' just few people use it when want to go to the bathroom to do...you know..." the number one. Come to think of it , there are many ways to say that. Children for instance use to ' pee' or 'make pee pee'. Some of them prefer "to make water" or " make wee wee " Funny , isn't it? When my niece was a baby-niece she had a lot of fun with her new doll that went pee pee. Recently in a movie a little girl used " urinate " as "potty" , she said: " I'm sorry to cut this short but I have to go potty'" .
As I told you before there are many different ways of saying the verb " urinate". Let's learn them one by one.

1- Polite terms

a) go to the bathroom
May I go to the bathroom?

b) go to the restroom
My wife went to the restroom and is taking long.

c) powder my nose ( women)
While Stephanny was powdering her nose on the camping trip , she was eaten by a bear.

d) visit the little girls
Can you wait me here while I visit the little girls?

Hugo is in the little boys room now.

f) relieve myself
I need to relieve myself, so where is the bathroom?

2- Impolite terms

a) take a leak ( men)
João is in the bathroom taking a leak.

b) pee ( it's commom for children but it's impolite for adults)
Stop saying you are going to pee. You are not a kid anymore!

I'm afraid I've tinkled on my pants. I'm wet!

d) piddle
There's no better moment in your life than when you are piddling in peace.
